If you’re an avid 4WD enthusiast, link up the best of the trails on the designated 354km River Red Gum Drive through Gunbower National Park, Koondrook State Forest, Perricoota State Forest, Barmah National Park and Murray Valley National Park. Allow two to three days; see 4WD Victoria for details.

Canoe Trails

Enjoy the gentle splash of oars and creak of river red gum branches as you explore the mighty Murray River by paddle power.

Touring Itinerary

A true nature lover could spend several weeks exploring all the national and state parks along the Murray, but you can easily make shorter trips.
