Start at McLean Beach and follow the path along the Edward River banks (Kolety), passing stately red gums and sandy beaches. Continue along the path under the National Bridge until you reach the Island Sanctuary. Wander through this tranquil setting and keep an eye out for native birds, kangaroos and other wildlife.

The walking path continues at the back gate of the sanctuary where you’ll pass the first town water supply tower and Memorial Park sporting grounds. You’ll enter the Murray Valley Regional Park before finishing at Willoughby’s Beach.
