The Bridge Hotel was built in 1859 by Henry Hopwood, an ex-convict and one of Echuca's most enterprising characters from early colonial days. In 1850 Henry bought a small punt which operated across the Murray River near the Campaspe junction.
In 2016 the Bridge Hotel went through major renovations in order to restore it back to the grand building it had been. The result is now a fabulous venue that provides a modern twist paying respect to its history. Henry's is now an iconic family hotel in the Port of Echuca.
Henry's has one of the largest outdoor beer gardens in Echuca and features live music most weekends. It is certainly the place to be when visiting Echuca.
Henry's is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
