Set on a spacious and relatively untouched rural reserve, the Moulamein Race makes for a truly authentic country race like no other.
The day includes a six-race programme run on a dirt track, the 100-metre straight is lined with private, track-side and fully catered marquees. The crowd’s attire is everything from relaxed country, right through to some of the most breath-taking country race fashions, all chasing the highly prized title of queen of Fashions on the Field.
The crowd have all the atmosphere they could want with the unique four-sided bough shed bar, the shade of the box trees, bookies and TAB on site, and the sound of a solo ‘Muso’ filtering through the crowd.
There is plenty of choice, with several food vans to satisfy the taste buds. It is a real family affair should you choose, with plenty of free entertainment for the kids including face-painting, jumping castles, magicians and plenty more.
