Bundalong is located around fifteen minutes east of Yarrawonga and situated along the Murray River where the Ovens River spills into Lake Mulwala. Bundalong is a fishing hot spot with many trying to land a Murray Cod and other native fish species.

The township is quiet and friendly with cafe, tavern, caravan park and service station selling most provisions. The boat ramp is easily accessible and the area offering calm waters and interesting nooks to explore via canoe. The sunsets are a photographers dream and the bird life abundant. Accommodation choices consist of cabins at caravan parks, rental holiday houses and motel available only 10 minutes towards Bathumi heading east.
