For a paddle and a play, Thompson’s Beach on the Murray at Cobram is a popular spot for families all year round. Shaded by towering river red gums and floodlit in the evenings, it is the perfect spot to relax and play. There are free barbecues, a playground, a café and toilet facilities.

More water fun can be had at our splash parks in Barooga and Tocumwal, as well as the Yarrawonga Water Play Park on the foreshore of Lake Mulwala. If you’ve got toddlers, you already know you need eyes in the back of your head. Of course, this is especially the case around water. Take care!
