Yarrawonga Mulwala

The north east area of Sun Country is Mulwala try a round of mini golf at Tunza Fun. Then head over the bridge to Yarrawonga where you can enjoy the foreshore, let the kids take on the skate park and in warmer months get your bathers on for the kids and kids at heart who love a challenge. You can't miss the site of this amazing fun floating world as you drive across the bridge called Aqua Zone. A large inflatable water obstacle course that will give you the best workout, while having the time of your life. For the little kids there’s the Yarrawonga Foreshore Splashpark and Water Slide. Grab some lunch at one of the funky cafes or hotels or picnic at the historic Yarrawonga Weir, a great place to relax, enjoy the scenery and stroll along the historical picture boards.

Rich Glen Olives
Heading west towards Cobram along the Murray Valley Highway, drop into Rich Glen Olive Farm for some lovely locally grown produce. Sample scrumptious delights and enjoy alfresco dining with tastings of oils, relishes, dukka's and much more on offer. Here the kids can play in the homestead's garden, feed the farm animals, play giant chess, volleyball and other games. Check out the historic shed full of yesteryear treasures.

Byramine Homestead

About 10 min further along the Murray Valley Highway heading towards Cobram is Byramine Homestead & Brewery. Take a step back in time. Built in 1842 by the famous explorer Hamilton Hume for his sister-in-law, Elizabeth Hume and her nine children after her husband was murdered by Bushrangers, in Gunning NSW.
Fresh meals, from the paddock straight to your plate are their specialty along with the sampling and sales of our boutique beers, wines and cider.
