An excited little echidna peaks over a flowerbed, next to his friend the cheeky Brush-tail Possum with his pointed face and pink nose. A Golden Whistler and the Red-Capped Robin appear to be flying down to land in the plaza. A beautiful old Murray River Turtle slowly climbs a log as a Painted Lady Butterfly flickers on his nose, while a spirited big-eyed Sloane’s Froglet stares on from the other side of the door.
Visitors can take a photo holding the line that landed a giant Murray Cod or become a Dainty Swallowtail and smaller Painted Lady.
Memorial Plaza features cafe style and benches seating, public Wi-Fi, a community notice board, and a drinking fountain.
