Bankhead Terraces is situated adjacent to the Gunbower State Forest and National Parks, within the Murray wetlands of Northern Victoria.
This internationally recognised wetland habitat is distinguished by swamps, billabongs, giant river red gums and box forests which are a sanctuary for colonies of kangaroos, possums, emus, goannas and snakes and more than 160 different bird species.
Bankhead Terraces offer guests a choice of four apartments. Each unit has a fully equipped modern kitchen, laundry with tumble dryer, reverse cycle air conditioner, 26 inch flat screen television with built in DVD player and each unit has an individual courtyard with barbecue.
Cohuna and the forest are networked by walking, riding and driving tracks, and have barbecue and picnic facilities. The town boasts a friendly country shopping centre and is a sporting hub with well established amenities and facilities, including an 18 hole golf course, two bowls clubs and your choice of lawn or hard court tennis. Swimming and water skiing are also popular recreational pursuits.
