This regatta is rich in history – it first commenced in 1860 and it is the longest running regatta in Rowing Victoria’s history.
20 years ago this regatta was on the brink of collapse being held on one day with only 30 entries. Fast forward to current times and the regatta is now a two day event. Races occur every three minutes from 8am until 5.15pm on Saturday and from 7am to 4pm on Sunday.
