On the Chasney Estate farm they are committed to building healthy soils, healthy plants and healthy animals on the farm. They are completely off the grid solar and they are aiming to be as natural as possible in everything they do.
The crew behind Chasney know that food grown in healthy soil is healthy food. They add compost and mulch to help build the farms healthy soil and they act as stewards of this land, caring for its health and the welfare of their animals.
They are currently planting English Lavender (Lavandula Angustifolia) for culinary use and essential oils, and Lavandula intermedia Grosso for dried flowers and essential oil for cosmetic use.
They are chemical and pesticide-free and will become organic certified once they have reached the holding period since they purchased the farm.
