Murray River Road
Couple walking through olive groves at Rich Glen Estate

Agri-tourism & Produce

Some big-wig marketing clown in a high-rise reckons you can get farm fresh food at the CBD grocer. We beg to differ. Murray River Road fresh means you’re grabbing it straight from the farmers market, farmgate store or roadside stall if not from the farms themselves.

You can literally wander through olive groves and vineyards while chatting with the farmers who are pouring their sweat into growing the best food you can get. It doesn’t stop there though – the fertile dirt gives birth to a rainbow of fruits and veggies too. Plus there’s farmers that pick purple garlic, harvest pink salt and raise free-range pork. Oh, and we have apiarists that collect organic honey. We even have camel milk for crying out loud! If you can farm it – somebody along the Murray probably does it.

Point is – the stops along the Murray River Road will get you hankering for more and honestly it won’t be easy going home once you’ve had a taste.
