Food & Drink

Freshness to share

North of the Murray is where the tourist route winds around working farms, through real country towns and among genuinely proud people. With so many of our people involved in growing food, preparing it, or delivering it to your table, high-quality and generous food and drink is at the heart of our region.

Enjoy local produce at Blacksmith Provedore, Corowa Whisky and Chocolate and from our regular farmers’ markets, and take advantage of the mild evenings to enjoy outdoor dining and tasting opportunities at restaurants, clubs, and in a laid-back beer garden at one of our authentic country pubs.

Food and drink highlights

Spend a sunny afternoon sampling a cheeky chardonnay or a world-renowned fortified wine from the neighbouring Rutherglen and King Valley wine regions in one of our lovely restaurants, or tickle the taste buds at Corowa Distilling Co. with a nip of their latest whisky release. For a nonalcoholic tasty temptation, make yourself a freckle from the fountain of chocolate at the Corowa Whisky and Chocolate Factory (yes, it’s for big kids too!).
