Feel welcome in a place where there are fewer distractions and fewer decisions; where open skies meet open roads.
Here are some ideas to get you started on a unique family discovery.
Grown-ups can stock up on supplies for an easy lakeside barbeque whilst the kids play at the Purtle Park Adventure Playground suitable for all. This family-friendly park contains a free-standing all-abilities play system with attractive modern designs, overlooking the water.
Tunzafun Amusement Park includes an 18 hole Mini-Golf Course, Dodgem Cars, Krazy Kars, Carousel, Teacup Ride, Motor Racing Ride, mini-train and UFO Cars for younger children.
The entire family will love lunch aboard one of the vessels that cruise the calm waters of Lake Mulwala. Old paddlesteamer, P.S. Cumberoona or MV Paradise Queen. Boomnetting off the back of the boat? Or maybe self-cater and explore at your own pace on a barbeque boat? The choice is yours. This is pure relaxation, with nothing to do but sit back and take it all in.
Kick back with the family and watch the stars come out over Lake Mulwala. Ditch the devices and you can literally feel the stress of day-to-day life evaporate in the breeze. This is the life.
Up and at 'em, grab your bikes and cycle on the new Corowa to Mulwala cycle trail.
Make sure you pick up a copy of the Cycle and Walking Trail brochures, then cruise the region at your own pace. There is bike hire available and trails to suit all levels of fitness and all ages of riders.
There are lots of great café and lunch options in Corowa, although a mere mention of the words "Chocolate Factory" may mean the decision is already made! Tours, samples and snacks are sure to keep your whole gang happy. There are adult friendly whisky tastings at the Corowa Distilling Co and historical sites celebrating Australia's Federation and the art of Tom Roberts and Tommy McRae.
The kids will love the Bangerang Park or RSL Park Playgrounds or bring your own cricket gear and enjoy a family hit at the picturesque Corowa Foreshore or sit back and enjoy the Murray River views.
Discover the riverside town of Howlong by circumnavigating our Howlong History Trail that spans 13.3 kilometres and covers 28 significant locations in the area. Don't forget to stop into the Howlong Country Bakery or the 1/2 acre cafe lounge and nursery for a treat or to grab some items for a picnic lunch at Lowe Square so the kids can play.
From here, you can travel through our rustic rural villages discovering our amazing and creative sculptures along the way.
