Take the time to explore our region and you’ll discover an amazing range of fresh produce and local delicacies North of the Murray.
Grab some chocolate at Corowa Whisky and Chocolate (or get the kids to make their own), visit Gooramadda Olives and sample the fruit and oils, and – of course – don’t miss the chance to cast a line and catch your own. It doesn’t get any fresher than that!
Local Farmers’ and Craft markets showcase much of the local produce on offer and you’ll love the authentic country vibe and friendly atmosphere. The Corowa Community Garden is open to the public, and for a small donation you can stock up on locally grown fruits and veg. It’s a great way to meet locals and stock the basket for a carefree picnic by the water. The colourful mosaic artwork scattered around the garden is quite the feature.
Fans of craft spirits will love the Corowa Distilling Co., which offers tours, tastings and sales of its impressive range of whisky. A quick trip south of the border to the Rutherglen region is a wine-lover’s delight, or just order by the glass or bottle at any of our restaurants, pubs and clubs. And you can try the amazing range of breads from Corowa’s Flourish Craft Bakery, either by visiting them directly or looking out for it at cafes and restaurants throughout the region.
