Parks & Nature Reserves

Surrounded by nature, the Corowa region offers no end of locations to settle in, relax and enjoy the natural scenery, or head off for walks, picnics, camping or a spot of bird watching. Kids are catered for too, with lovely modern playgrounds throughout the region.

We are also proud to celebrate the ongoing connection to the land of our local Indigenous community, and remember our colonial past and the heritage of the area.

Redlands Hill Reserve

This nature reserve showcases our region's rich cultural history, featuring a diverse array of local native plants, birds and animals. Used for thousands of years as a source of food, medicine and natural connection, it is now a highly regarded, environmentally protected flora and fauna reserve.

The welcome centre is a replica of Tom Roberts' classic painting 'Shearing the Rams'; the original shearing shed was located opposite the reserve.

Dump Points

Visitors can use the free dump points and access potable water at Rower’s Park Corowa, Lowe Square Howlong and Owen Bridge Reserve Mulwala.
