More to Play

Competition and Fun

North of the Murray truly is a sporting mecca, and winter packs a punch with activities for all.

A sunny round of golf goes without saying, and – if you’re after a moment of peace – there’s nothing more relaxing than rolling out your yoga mat right on the riverbank.

Community Sports

Leave the massive stadiums behind and get a taste of real, authentic grass-roots community sport. Australian rules football is at the heart of the community in our smaller towns, with men, women, girls and boys all competing for local pride. Spend your winter Saturdays down at the local football ovals and barrack for the home team.

If you’d rather get out and play, grab a racket and play tennis against family, friends or willing locals on one of the many manicured grass and synthetic courts located across the region. Most courts are available for hire, or visit at Easter and compete in the Annual Easter Tennis Tournaments in either Corowa or neighbouring Yarrawonga, with its 23 top-class courts.
