Mulwala's original war memorial monument was erected at the edge of Lonsdale Reserve in 1921.
In 1995, the monument was updated, repaired and relocated to its current site in Melbourne Street.
A granite column on concrete base set in Old Mill Park, the memorial features dedications and honour rolls for the First and Second World Wars.
Erected by the citizens of Mulwala & District as a tribute to the twenty-one men who enlisted and in memory of those who made the ultimate sacrifice in the Great War 1914 – 1919
