About

We invite you to get away from it all and discover Deniliquin and surrounds.

The first thing you’ll find is that in ‘Deni’ you feel like a local. Whether you are on a pilgrimage to the iconic Deni Ute Muster, or on a relaxing break with your family, Deni is the perfect place to immerse yourself in country hospitality and soak up nature’s beauty.

Deni straddles the Edward River, where ancient red gum forests meet the expansive plains of the outback. Our sunny climate lets you enjoy the outdoors all day, then relax under one of the best starry skies you’ll ever see.

Dive into the river’s aquatic playground, with beaches and swimming spots, long stretches of smooth water for skiing or wake-boarding and canoe and kayak trails through the forest. The Edward River is a peaceful, lesser-known alternative to the nearby Murray River, so you can escape the summer crowds and relax or try to lure Australia’s number one native fish, the Murray Cod.

Deni’s unsurpassed natural assets make it the perfect family holiday destination. Explore the Murray Valley Regional Park on our doorstep and enjoy our manicured golf course and sporting facilities. Seek out great places to eat, like a picnic in our historic gardens or tuck into some local produce in a local café or beer garden. In Deni’s boutique shops you can find everything from vintage to fashion to local homemade wares, as well plenty of places to pamper and relax.

Whether you are enjoying a family vacation or a short break, when you visit Deni it feels like a real holiday.
