The Barmah Forest Heritage and Education Centre is a captivating and informative museum-style facility located within the gorgeous town of Nathalia. The center also serves as an accredited Visitor Information Centre, providing valuable resources and expert advice on exploring beautiful Sun Country on the Murray.
The center offers a range of educational exhibits and video displays that showcase the diverse flora, fauna, and features of this iconic forest. Staff at the Centre can further enhance this experience through providing their wealth of knowledge on this area. The Centre also contains a 3D painted floor mural which is sure to amaze, an a large jigsaw puzzle to test your skills at!
Whether you're an educational facility looking to further your knowledge around: the ecology of the National Park, the RAMSAR Convention and other international legislative instruments, the founding industries, or the connection between people and nature; or perhaps you're just an interested individual looking to learn something new; the Barmah Forest Heritage and Education Centre has it all.
The Centre also features:

Open Wednesday - Sunday, 9am - 5pm (except Fridays, where it closes at 3pm). If you are interested in booking an event for a larger group, reach out to us and we may be able to accommodate you on a Monday or Tuesday.
