But the paddle steamer experience isn't confined to Echuca... Mildura, Yarrawonga Mulwala, and Swan Hill also offer regular cruises, each with its own history and perspective on the river.

From the historic PS Hero, built in 1874, to the renowned PS Emmylou, named after the country music star and built in 1980, the Murray River is home to a diverse collection of paddle steamers. You might even recognize the PS Pevensey, better known as the PS Philadelphia from the beloved Australian TV series "All the Rivers Run," filmed in Echuca. Today, you can experience the Pevensey's charm first hand with a cruise at the Port of Echuca Discovery Centre.
