The Dharnya Centre is the cultural heart of Yorta Yorta Country, located within Barmah National Park – a Ramsar-listed wetland and home to the largest river red gum forest in the world. It is a place of knowledge-sharing, learning, and connection, where visitors can immerse themselves in Yorta Yorta stories, traditions, and the beauty of the river, forests, and wetlands.

Embark on the Kingfisher River Cruise, a 90-minute journey along the Murray River and Barmah Lakes. Guests discover the cultural and ecological significance of the Barmah and Millewa Forests while observing abundant birdlife. The park is a renowned destination for birdwatchers worldwide, with species including the threatened Superb Parrot, Azure and Sacred Kingfishers, Rainbow Bee-eater, White-bellied Sea-Eagle, and large flocks of Australian Pelicans. Kangaroos, koalas, and other native wildlife are also commonly seen along the riverbanks.

Experience a guided 60-minute cultural walking tour along the Yamyabuc Trail. This experience highlights native plants, bush medicine, and the deep connection between people, Country, and culture in the Barmah National Park.
