The Katamatite Silo Art Project is a significant project, not just for Katamatite but for the Moira Shire.
It was a collaborative effort involving the Katamatite Lions Club, Moira Shire Council, GrainCorp, the artist Tim Bowtell, and the community, raising funds through markets and an Op Shop.
After five years the Katamatite Lion's project was completed in July 2023. The mural portrays Katamatite's vivid history. It joins the popular North East Silo Art Trail
