This latest Community Gallery exhibition presents the breadth and depth of embroidery techniques practised by the Albury Wodonga Branch of the Victorian Embroiderers Guild.

Needle and Thread brings together a selection of finely crafted pieces that reflect both traditional techniques and contemporary interpretations of embroidery.

Works on display include the rich textures of goldwork and blackwork, the delicate intricacy of thread weaving and expressive abstract embroidery. Together, this collection offers insight into the wide-ranging skills and imaginative approaches of this longstanding local creative group.
