Outback Almonds is a working almond farm nestled alongside the banks of the Darling River in far southwest NSW.

What began as a 3000-treecrop in 1998, has evolved to 9000 trees, producing a selection of natural, blanched, slivered, hot and spicy, and chocolate coated almonds. Guests have the opportunity to learn about everyday life at a family owned and operated working station - Garston Station – which has been in the family for three generations.

Arriving at Outback Almonds, guests are welcomed by the resident kookaburras and wildlife that adorn outback Australia. They offer a farm stay in a self-contained three-bedroom Cottage, queen share Glamping tents as well as unpowered camp sites for you to pull up your van or pitch a tent. Led by the farm owners, learn about the process of growing almonds, sheep farming and the Darling River lifestyle on a farm tour with morning tea. Guests can self cater or opt for a fully catered option. During the Summer months, guests can kayak or explore the self-guided walking track, and in Winter, evenings spent around the campfire toasting marshmallows and stargazing, with the almonds in bloom in August.
