The Koondrook Retreat is a unique glamping experience nestled on the beautiful Gunbower Creek, on a secluded site near historic Koondrook in the Gannawarra region.
Koondrook’s picturesque accommodation is perfect for couples or up to four guests who are looking to connect with nature and enjoy a perfect relaxing getaway in one of the six fully-serviced safari styled tents.
From your private deck, you’ll enjoy unspoilt views of the creek and the forest beyond.
Relax and enjoy the modern comforts of a queen sized bed, sofa, kitchenette, split system heating and cooling, ensuite bathroom and outdoor lounge. The campsite offers a common fire pit area and a gentle sloping area to launch your kayak.
From Koondrook Retreat you can connect to the bush via the newly constructed redgum footbridge over the Gunbower Creek, and links to a 3km looped walking track via the unique and historic Condidorios Bridge. Wander the easy 200 metres into town for lunch, coffee and cake or for a hearty pub meal. Or just stroll around and explore the historic township, the award-wining wharf and refurbished waterfront or redgum sawmill established in 1889.
