Koondrook Retreat

Set to launch on December 15, the Koondrook Retreat, a new glamping experience getaway nestled on the beautiful Gunbower Creek, on the secluded site in a historic Murray River town in the Gannawarra region.

Koondrook’s picturesque accommodation is perfect for couples or up to four guests who are looking to connect with nature and a perfect relaxing getaway in the six fully serviced safari styled tents.

The waterfront stay overlooks the creek and forest from your own deck.

The wonderful glamping experience provides all the modern comforts of a queen sized bed, sofa, kitchenette, split system heating and cooling, ensuite bathroom and outdoor lounge. The campsite offers a common fire pit area and a gentle sloping area to launch your kayak.

From Koondrook Retreat you can connect to the bush via the newly constructed redgum footbridge over the Gunbower Creek, and links to a 3km looped walking track via the unique and historic Condidorios Bridge. Wander into town, an easy 200m stroll for lunch, coffee and cake or for a hearty pub meal or explore the historic township, the award-wining wharf and refurbished waterfront or redgum sawmill established in 1889.
