RV Free Camping

The Gannawarra welcomes RV travellers and offers short-term free camping in six locations.

Dedicated free camping for self-contained vehicles is available in:

• Flora Park, Tennis Road, Cohuna
• Turf Club, Park Road, Kerang
• Wetlands Reserve, Corner View and Penglase Street Koondrook
• Travellers Rest, King George Street, Leitchville
• Murrabit Market/ Lions Club Park Reserve, Gonn Avenue, Murrabit
• Apex Park, Apex Road, Reedy Lake currently inaccessible due to bridge closure

Cohuna, Koondrook and Leitchville are designated official RV-Friendly Towns.

For a fee RV travellers can stay for short or extended periods at the Cohuna Golf Course, Quambatook Caravan Park and Murrabit.

Dump points available for caravan park patrons are located in Kerang, Cohuna, Koondrook and Quambatook. Free accessible points are located in Kerang, Cohuna, Koondrook, Leitchville and Murrabit.

There are multiple locations suitable for long vehicle parking in the central business district of Kerang

• Atkinson Park
• Shadforth Street -between Wellington & Scoresby St
• Scoresby Street service lane, north end of Kerang Swimming Pool
• Scoresby Street between Nolan and Shadforth Streets
